  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Plain or vanilla flavored.
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup Adjust for sweetness as desired.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adds the cinnamon roll flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances flavors.
For Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts Optional for crunch.
  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries Optional for sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese For a drizzle topping (optional).
  • 1 tablespoon milk To thin the cream cheese for drizzling.

Method
 

Prepare the Overnight Oats
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  2. Divide the oat mixture evenly into four jars or containers with lids.
  3. Seal the containers and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the oats to soak and soften.
Prepare the Toppings
  1. If using cream cheese drizzle, in a small bowl, mix cream cheese with 1 tablespoon of milk until smooth and pourable.
  2. When ready to serve, remove the oats from the refrigerator and top each serving with chopped nuts, dried fruit, and a drizzle of cream cheese if desired.

Notes

These overnight oats can be customized with different toppings like fresh fruit, nut butter, or seeds. For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt and use maple syrup as the sweetener.
