Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy. Stir halfway through the baking time for even crispiness.
Serving
- Once baked, remove the chickpea bites from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Serve warm with vegan yogurt and drizzled sriracha for dipping.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the spices to suit your taste. You can also toss the chickpeas in nutritional yeast for an extra cheesy flavor. For a more substantial appetizer, serve them alongside a fresh salad or wrap them in lettuce leaves.
